After just 4 months of use, without any symptoms, this unit would no longer display a picture. Six little flashes of the red-light and nothing else. Because this unit is a Multi-system TV, having shipped it from the USA to Europe for a temporary work relocation, the one-year replacement warranty is no longer valid. After having spent +700 US Dollars, I assure you that I won't be purchasing another SONY again.
