Pros:-Even though this TV is listed as refurbished, it came in brand new condition-The picture is clear and sharp, with no issuesCons:-Could use more inputs (It has 2 HDMI, 1 Component, and 1 Coax). Another component input and a composite to support older devices would be nice.-Sound quality isn't great, but it is good enough. The volume has to be turned up pretty high to hear sometimes, and the bass is lacking

Hookuped with a Bluray player and the picture is outstanding. Audio is average but playing TV sound through Bluray player is an improvement. Add the warranty for 3 years and deal can not be beat.

I bought this needing a second TV after another one died. I was reluctant at first to buy this TV because it was not a name you normally think of when getting a flatscreen TV and being refurbished also bugged me. Still, at the price of $250 and realizing that refurbished is far better than used if refurbished by the manufacturer, I took the chance. I was not disappointed.It arrived in great shape and was easy to setup. The TV looks brand new and has a bright clear picture. The viewing angel is great. I would describe the sound as a little better than average. The remote is simple to use although the only possible complaint I have had has to do with the remote. In order to use the Power Button on the remote I have to be right in front of the TV. I figured the remote goes by ACPA guidelines (Anti Couch Potato Association). I have yet to try a universal remote to see if it is truly a remote problem or possibly some other problem. All the other remote functions seem to work no problem from a distance. So, since I'm usually getting up to enter/leave the room when I turn on/off the TV anyway, this has not been a big deal.Despite the one minor remote problem, this was a great buy and I would recommend this TV to anyone looking for an affordable flatscreen TV or just a smaller TV for the bedroom.Update: Still a great TV! I did find, using a universal remote, that it is indeed the remote that came with the TV (not a problem with the TV itself) that has problems turning the TV on and off unless you are a few inches away from the TV. This may or may not be a problem that others have experienced. Still, I don't care. This is a great deal and I would rather use a logitech universal remote anyway.
