1NOT 120 Hz

Research the model number. This is not a 120 Hz TV. Do your homework before you buy. Word to the wise folks!

4Can hook up a WD USB hard drive to this TV
By DmK
I found that I can hook up Western Digital Passport 1TB USB hard drive to this TV's USB slot and use TV's built-in media player to play AVI/MKV/MP4 files. It does not play VOB files, so to play a DVD from hard drive, the files need to be converted to AVI/MKV/MP4. There some other formats this TV can play, I would suggest reading the manual (available on Samsung site). For a large number of files, I find that hooking up a USB hard drive is preferable over a USB flash card, since hard drive space will be 10x cheaper per unit of storage. As for the quality, I am quite happy, although I did not compare this TV to others side-by-side. One thing I wish this TV would do is to get rid of the black bars on the sides of the screen when playing 4:3 movies from the USB card/disk. Somehow, it can do this for movies on DVD. Surely, it can stretch the picture to 16:9 and lose the proportions, but I am talking about "zoom" mode, where distortions are less noticeable. "Zoom" only works for DVDs, it seems.
