5Great for the Kitchen
By AllThingsAppleFan
This TV looks awesome in the kitchen. The screen folds up and out of the way. Setup was easy. After mounting it under the cabinet, you just have to attach a coaxial cable from your cable TV service, or an antenna for TV reception over the air (just like any TV). I ran a cable through the cabinets and down to the TV so it was nice and clean looking. We love to watch Netflix movies while eating in the kitchen and this thing streams Netflix directly from our home WiFi network. As long as you have a wireless router and broadband internet service, it's easy to connect to your home network through the on-screen setup. We also signed up for Hulu Plus and my wife loves to watch TV shows on demand. When we're not watching TV or Netflix, we listen to music from Pandora. I also like the consideration to details like a keypad that can be easily cleaned with a sponge, and the remote control that magnetically attaches to the fridge so we're not always looking for it. This is the biggest screen we could find for under the cabinet and the internet streaming makes it future-proof. Highly recommended!

1Poor design
By jeb
Venturer KLR19132 Review.Received it this week and had to send it back for the following reasons:1. Horrible speakers/sound. The sound quality is terrible.2. Wifi did not reliably work. Under network settings, it would attach to the network (associate with the AP) and get an IP address, could run half the test (DNS query) and then it would fail. I would have to power cycle to get it to work.3. Front LCD would work only part of the time. So if you wanted to listen to the radio, you couldn't see which station you were on. I would have to power cycle multiple times (unplug it) before the LCD display would work.4. Took a long time to power on. With the LCD display not working, you couldn't tell it was powered on except for the backlight on the LCD display and then just patience to see the TV screen finally come on.BTW, this doesn't have any RCA jacks on the back to provide output. So even if you wanted to augment the audio with external speakers, you can't.Great concept in a TV but executed/designed poorly.

3Great price & features, good video, poor sound
By Michael
The price was excellent! I replaced a unit that was 10yrs old with half the screen size. It's nice to have access to Netflix and such, and the access to my wi-fi was a breeze. Start-up takes a bit long even for regular TV, but I can live with that. The video is very good, and the screen size is impressive. If I had to do over I would likely get a smaller screen due to space but that's of no fault of Venturer. Where I am really disapointed is the sound. My 10yr old unit is far superior there. It has the sound quality of a 25yr old Sony Watchman. Like I am listing to a mono speaker. I have had it for a month now and the poor quality of the sound catches my attention EVERY TIME I turn it on. It is a still a good product for the price but they could have done better with he sound.
