Great purchase!
By Chick Daniels
I bought this a few weeks ago. Normally its good to have a review be at least six months after the purchase, but seeing that this TV doesn't have any yet, I will put one in. So far, we couldn't be happier. The picture is great! No problems no matter which device we play from, or what channel we watch. The sound quality is decent, but of course you will want to export sound to a better audio system if that is important to you. The menu structure is very intuitive. Hardly had to look at the manual to figure out how to set it all up. Was very easy to navigate through the V-chip settings, picture settings, channel settings, etc. The remote control is also very nice. It is large, with large easy to press buttons. This TV has all the ports that we will ever need and more. Very easy to plug in the Flash/USB drive to view picture files or video. This purchase was well worth the money compared to other brands we researched and considered. We would definitely purchase this TV again if we had to do it all over.

Pixelated picture problems mar this otherwise excellent TV
By J. Simone
I will have to chime in and agree with William Walker's review of the Samsung 32C540 HD television set. I too have this set and have noticed pixelated images. It does not happen on all channels, but it does happen consistently on channels that might have a lower signal strength.I did not notice this problem at first because I was not looking for it specifically. But, after reading the review by Walker, I too must concur that this is a serious flaw in an otherwise excellent set. I also own the excellent Samsung LN52A750 set. The picture on that set is outrageously good AND does not exhibit any of the pixelated image problems of the 32C540 set. I actually compared them side-by-side from the same cable connection. On the 32 inch C540 set the image broke up into squares (pixels) and on the larger 52 inch Samsung the image was picture perfect.Given the nature of this problem, I feel it is a chronic issue with the particular tuner in this set and maybe widespread across all instances of this particular model. Buyer beware.

Mostly good TVV
By J. Grosz
Just purchased this TV about 3 weeks ago (from Sam's Club). Great value for the size and feature set. Most sets in this range have only 2 HDMI inputs versus this set offering 4. It's a less known or sold set, appears to be a special model for only certain retailers. So far, I like everything about this set. It's my 2nd Samsung (Have the 52LNA650 also) and I like the design and remote. I also like the intuitive and easy to use menu system. Very easy to work through the feature set and options. Speakers work well. This is our secondary set, so not hooked up to a stereo of any type. The only flaw may be pixelation and picture distortion. I noticed it this weekend in the midst of a pretty heavy and wet snow that caused picture disruption wtih DirecTV, so I'm not sure if it was the TV or the weather related isseus. But, I will continue to monitor as others have stated similar issues with the set. However, with satellite TV, signal strength should not impact the picture quality of the TV as the tuner is in the receiver and not the television. Minus this one possible picture issue, this TV is a great set at a great price - though it is a possibly major issue.Since this is our secondary set - and future bedroom TV once we're done with a basement finish - it's less of a concern to me.
