5Room TV
By shesbadass
I ordered this on the 13th of Nov and got it the 14th :D !!! and that was with super savers shipping.it was a fairly easy set up, its also a really thin tv. i happen to think the stand is genius.the actual picture to me is great, im not to experienced on quality. but its a clear picture, nothing is blurred. i can read all of the numbers and words with ease.my only issue is the panoramic view is THE WORST. the middle of the screen is perfect but the outer corner area stretches as if you're looking in a magnifying glass. so i will never use that option. other than that its great and i like it a lot.this is my 2nd vizio tv.

52nd time around, all is good !
By Sound_Off
The first one was no good. Picture was fuzzy, off color and just not what I thought it should be. Called Visio, talked to the tech, went through some adjustments and still not right. I had a feeling it might not be right when we saw there was some damage to the one corner of the box it came in. Next called AMAZON. They are great!~ Had a new one shipped out the next day after shipping the first one back. What a difference. This is what a Visio should be. Picture is great and the audio is also very good compared to most in this size.

5Be sure to read the Quick Start Guide
By rare bird
We received this in great condition even though it was not double-boxed. Setting it up was a breeze. So far the sound and picture are excellent for a bedroom TV. Since some people have had issues develop within a short period of time we are hanging onto the packaging for a while. In our experience Amazon is terrific about replacing defective products. For those who have not had success attaching the stand, we recommend reading the Quick Start Guide, where it is explained that two small screws are included to anchor the stand to the TV. (Look for a tiny plastic bag in the box). Just below the slots where the stand/bar fits in place on the back of the TV there are tiny flexible rubber "doors" that pop open so that you can put the screws in to hold the stand to the TV. The doors have an imprint that looks like the head of a screw. This TV does tilt a bit to the back, which makes viewing from bed sort of awkward, but a 1/2 inch book placed under the stand straightens it up nicely. The picture quality is so good that I'm thinking about ordering the 22" version to use as a TV and second monitor for my sewing room.

5What a great TV for the price
By vtxdude
I recently rearranged my home office and have been looking for a small TV to put on my desk. Like Bob mentioned I saw this on clearance at Target for 150.00. I've only had it a couple of days but so far so good and HD channels look fantastic. Absolutely perfect for what I wanted it for and a steal at Target..... and not that bad priced here. Looking for a sub 200 dollar TV? Look no further

This TV is absolutely great ... I do not know why nobody has made a useful comment about this product ... I bought it for my Xbox 360 and the PS3 too, and the quality of the image and sound is AWESOME ... I love it!

2Sound issue
By NostalgicMom
We wanted to replace 2 dying crt tvs with 2 new lcds. This philips seemed to be a great value for the price and the reviews were good. Shortly after receiving and testing both new tvs from amazon I began to question my sanity. I heard high pitched sounds whenever either tv was turned on. The sound stayed even when muted and after disconnected from any other device. The only way to stop it was to turn off the tv. Turned on again the 'mosquito on steroids' sound would be back. Each time louder than before. It has gotten so distracting now that I actually had to dig out our old crt tubes again. This constant squealing just makes the new tvs absolute useless. I am really disappointed but this philips tv just does not seem to be as good as it appeared at first. I am however very thankful to the reviewer who had the same problem and posted about it. I worried that I MUST have been imagining things since nobody else talked about this sound issue. Btw. the picture quality was very nice.Update: We had actually bought 3 of these tvs at the same time. Only 2 had the sound problems. The 3rd tv is working wonderful from day one. No squeal or other issues.

4A good but not great set
By jivetrain
LG's lower-mid level sets have earned a reputation for having low gaming lag, great color accuracy, and the most extensive features and picture options of any sets at or even above their price level. The CS560 series still delivers in these regards, but to a lesser extent than earlier models. The styling and build quality of the set are fairly good overall. My panel is a S-IPS type, though LG may be conducting a panel lottery (randomly shipping VA and IPS panels for the same model) as they have in the past. The buttons are front mounted and touch sensitive, which seems like a nice feature at first but makes operating the set awkward and even frustrating in a dark room; don't lose the remote. Another complaint to make about the set is that it buzzes audibly unless the backlight is fully set to 100, which can be annoying when using the set quietly at night. The input lag for video gaming keeps with LG's standard for fast processing time. In the lag tests I've done (in 1080p) the CS560 matched the response time of the Wii U's gamepad exactly, putting it in the 1-2 frames range. There is hardly any noticeable increase in lag when upscaling from 480p and I can play timing intensive games and online FPS with no problem. If you're buying this set for use with modern games, you'll be pleased with the lag performance. The color accuracy also seems to live up to LG's usual standards, although it's hard to know precisely how well without measuring with a meter. Every color is vivid and deep without appearing over saturated. The black levels are average at best, but the unbelievably bright white levels help to offset them and create contrast during bright scenes. The set is capable of 4:4:4 chroma sub sampling when used as a PC monitor over HDMI, but, as with other reviewers, it required me to perform the EDID override in my computer's registry. Regardless of the source used, the overall picture is extremely clear, vivid and detailed. The motion handling is mixed, but at least partly excellent with no visible streaking and only very light blur on moving objects during camera pans. There is, unfortunately, a large problem with juddering from most video sources, notably blu-rays at 24p. Almost any time the camera is panning the scenery and objects on screen will move in a jerky, strobe-like fashion. Past LG sets were able to handle 24p content smoothly, even models at much lower price points, so this obviously comes as a disappointment. If you intend to use the set mainly for watching blu-rays then you may want to buy the 2011 LK450 model instead. The feature set is another startling disappointment. The TV only has 4 inputs- 2 HDMI, 1 RF, 1 analog input, and no VGA or audio outputs whatsoever. To reiterate, there is no audio output, not even optical; once the audio goes into this set, the only way it can come out through the speakers. The analog video input functions as a joint component/composite input, meaning that you can't use both cable types at the same time. Users with more than two sources will find themselves having to use adapters or receivers to handle most of their connections. Some of the advanced picture options have also been cut, giving the CS560 the most limited menu of any recent LG (though it's worth noting that the range of options is still fuller than almost any competing set). The more pointless features such as "eye care" have been omitted, but some useful calibration tools have also been removed; there is no longer a color filter option, which means that color and tint calibration now require a pair of blue glasses to set. The 10-point IRE calibration has also been removed, leaving only the option for 2-point. The picture wizard seems to have defective patterns for brightness and contrast, yielding white and black levels that are wildly off target and impossible to match correctly (UPDATE: The Picture Wizard has been fixed through a firmware upgrade and now calibrates correctly). My own opinion of the 560 is that it's an excellent looking TV but one that grinds right along the border of "minimal" and "cheap". The set has been scaled back significantly compared to past models in response to the advance of LED, which seems poised to become the default backlight technology of LG's TV lineup. If you have simple tastes and just want a good looking set for gaming and occasional movie watching, the 560 is a great value and will perform well enough. If you're a more serious film enthusiast with a large blu-ray collection, then you may want to seek out an LK450 or choose a different brand to avoid the judder and limited inputs.

1They stripped a lot of features out for 2012 over the same 2011 model
By finally_cool_in_ks
Review written by K.WatsonThey stripped a lot of features out for 2012 over the same 2011/2010 line/models. The reasons are unclear. I assume to just make more money and fleece their customers even more. They removed so many great features that really made this a great set but they kept the price the same, which I would like to point out is already high compared to other models in the size. There is just no sense or logic in the stripping of these features whatsoever. They removed a HDMI port. Now there are not enough ports to hook up everything you need. Deal breaker for most potential customers right there. With just 2 ports, I've already had to pull out my set away from the wall several times to juggle between consoles, or if I want to watch a bluray movie or if I want to watch cable. It's a hassle. God only knows why LG would remove a very much needed HDMI port from us. Even the guy at Best Buy told us that he does not recommend this set to anyone because it has the least amount of HDMI ports of all their sets. He seemed really shocked. So were we.Movie quality is now worse. They removed 5:5 / 2:2 pull down from movies. Actually, ANY video content you want to display. 480, 720 or 1080. This means there is a huge amount of video judder / jitter present in any movie you watch. Go google "judder" it's a bad thing and you don't want it. But, if you buy this set, you will have plenty of it. Judder makes objects on the screen herky jerky when panning left to right, right to left, any panning whatsoever. Up / down, you name it. Objects will skip along the screen. God only knows why LG took this very basic feature out. It basically ruined this set. Even my daughter noticed the judder in her Disney movies and asked if the game needed cleaning. She is still at that age where she doesn't understand fully about bluray or dvd discs and thought that if Daddy and Mommy cleaned her "game" the movie would display smoothly. Of course it wasn't a game but a Bluray disc. They took out many many features from the user menu. Gone are many features that could be changed in the 2010 and 2011 version of this set / product line. Basically, at the expense of picture quality. Dozens of features were removed. They absolutely sabotaged this set and mangled what it once was. I know, I own both the LG 32KD450 and LG 32LK450. I apologize if I am being so harsh but LG warrants such a response and I think potential LG customers deserve an in-depth review. The night I returned my set to Best Buy, the sales person looked at me, puzzled I might add and asked me, what is so bad about this set? He went on to say two other people had returned theirs as well over the weekend. What a shame that LG would ruin such a fantastic line of TV sets by removing so many features that made this such a stand out TV against other 32" sets from other manufactures. Let's just hope that LG discontinues this model next year instead of releasing this kind of garbage upon it's customers. What I really want to ask LG is, why did you not want my money? Why did you remove the HDMI port and all those very important hardware features and menu features that made this such a great TV? Why LG?Update: I had a chance to speak with the sales manager from Nebraska Furniture Mart in my area and he tells me LG purposely crippled, removed these features, both hardware and in the user menu to make it's newer LED based TV's stand out against this set. He tells me that sometimes manufactures will do this to artificially highlight a TV in it's product line as having more features , better value, when the truth is, it never did. This is to drive sells in that area.I can tell you this LG. You customers are both smart and savvy and will see through this gimmick. I would also like to point out that when your customers are treated with respect, they become "loyal" customers. Pulling these kind of stunts will only drive business and customers away. I returned my set and I will not be looking at LG as a brand I would consider for anything in the future.

4Great TV for the price -- An Honest Review of LG 32" CS560
By LivingFit365
First and foremost this TV is not for high-end videophiles, audiophiles with highly sensitive, discerning taste, or dedicated, scrutinizing gamers. If you want that type of TV, you'll need to step it up a notch and of course pay more money. This is a medium, entry level 1080P TV with a clear, crisp picture and enough features to satisfy the average TV and occasional movie viewer, mom, pop and the 'family' -- That type of consumer. Maybe, just maybe some higher-end users will enjoy this as a second TV to use when they're not watching blue-ray on the high-end, expensive TV.Some reviewers criticized this TV for not having features of previous models in this price range. Well, I never had those features and don't miss them, nor do I need them. So to a new buyer its most important that you remember if you don't need a certain feature and/or never had it to begin with and don't miss it, it's not a big deal.I consider myself a savvy shopper and critical when it comes to quality of a product. I was looking for a low-priced TV that had some decent picture and sound quality. I just purchased this TV today from a local, big-box store for well under $380 and I'm very pleased with the great picture quality and especially the low price and great value. The other thing I wanted to mention is that don't over-buy in size. Everyone seems to want to buy the biggest TV they can afford. Well let me tell you, that's not always the best thing to do. I bought this TV because it is eventually going into a bedroom. So I opted for the 32". Right now it is set up in the living room and to be honest, the size is perfect for the living room. I was considering a 40"-50" at one time, and that would have been overkill. Also, DO NOT go by the picture quality at the stores no matter how 'great' they try to make it look. It's not a true representation of the TV's picture quality, nor how it will look in 'your' home, in 'your' lighting. It is also very hard to decide on a size when all the other sizes are sitting next to one another. It's very overwhelming a one can get confused trying to figure out which size will be best.My advice is to look at your room and space and try to decide on a TV that is not too overpowering yet not too small where the room dwarfs the TV. Here is an idea ... tape together pieces of poster board the size of the TV and place it in the space intended to get a perspective on size. Actually I think a 32" is a great size for most medium-sized rooms. Once you decide the size you're looking for, go shopping. You may change your mind a little bit smaller or a little bit bigger, but at least you'll have a base line to start before you go.Okay, so now with all of that being said and out of the way, here is my review.------Pros------Esthetics (design) ---> Modern, clean lines. Thin profile, but not the thinnest and not like the older, thicker models either. This TV has about a 2" black frame around the screen. It seems these days people are interested in the paper-thin frames, or the frame-less TV's. Actually, I 'thought' that was going to be my preference, as it is more sleek, minimalist, etc. But actually, when I got this home I really liked the fact it has a wider black frame. It accents nicely against the white walls and gives it sort of a 'picture frame' type of appeal. It makes the T.V. more of a focal point in the room. If you already have one big piece of furniture or artwork that is the main focal point of the room, then maybe a thin-frame or frame-less TV would be better in your situation. So anyway my advice is, don't go by what is 'trendy' go by what will look good in your particular home and environment. In my home the wider frame looks very nice. There are no buttons on the front of the TV, which is nice. It has flat, flush, touch-sensitive selectors for volume, channel, menu, etc. This keeps the TV looking clean, and uncluttered. Some manufactures hide 'buttons' under the frame or on the side of the frame. The 'clicking' of buttons just seems old-fashioned to me, at least now with iPads and such, and everything going to touch panels. I actually like the touch-sensitive, flat selectors on the 'front' of this TV within clear view of what I am pressing. This TV is very lightweight. Really it is. I carried this with one hand out of the store, and easily lifted this up onto my mantel with no problem. This means if you wish to move it from one room to another it can be done by one person. This was a blessing because I can remember not too long ago the behemoth tube TV's needed 3 people to help carry and install. This TV is truly a do-it-yourself TV. Nice!Assembly---> Easy. Out of the box, all that needed to be done is screw on the base, plug in your video source and power cord and that's it! You're done. Oh and put the 'included' batteries in the remote.Picture and Audio Set Up ---> Simple and intuitive. Using the 'picture wizard' guides you step by step to calibrate the TV and adjust picture settings. There are advanced settings to fine tune the picture even more. The auto-tune feature pulls in all your cable stations into the built-in tuner fast, easy and automatically.Selecting the audio preference is just as easy. Faux surround sound, etc.. Just a few selections and you'll soon be listening to the TV to your liking.Picture Quality ---> Sharp, vivid, clear picture quality for the price. Now compare this to the 50" plasma the store had on display running Avatar on Blue-ray and this TV pales in comparison. (but so did most of the other TV's on the floor). The bigger TV was 5+ times the price of this one. So you get what you pay for. Watching ABC, CBS, NBC and other cable stations, this TV has an amazing picture that will not disappoint. Blue-ray and DVD are just as fine.Audio Quality ---> Pretty good actually. It has a faux surround mode that does a nice job of dynamically enhancing the sound. There is also a feature to enhance the voices too so they don't get lost in background music and such. This TV does not have the tinny, AM radio sound you may expect from a low priced TV. Nor does it have the booming sound of a higher-end TV. This TV has very acceptable and clear, crisp sound for the price. The sound easily fills the room. You won't be disappointed in the sound from built-in speakers.USB connector ---> This is a nice, added feature if friends or family come by and you'd like to watch a home video or pictures on your TV. Just plug in the USB drive and start watching.Remote Control ---> A very basic, simple, easy to use remote. You won't find a bunch of confusing bells and whistles on the remote. No it's not going to make your toast and start your car. Nope, it has just exactly what you need and nothing more. So, the reason I like that is because I don't have to worry about family or guests trying to figure out how in the heck to turn on or operate the TV with a confusing remote. It spares me the agony of conducting a 'TV 101' classroom session for family and friends. Ugh!----Cons----Not very many cons actually. I mean for under $380 dollars for a 32" 1080P TV, you're really getting great quality and value. Seriously, technology is advancing so rapidly that in 5 to 10 years most computers and TV's are behind the times and out of date anyway. So, at this price one could easily afford to buy another mid-level TV like this one every 5 years. On the other hand, spending $1,000+ on a TV to try to get a few more bells and whistles might extend the time a bit more until it's out of date, but probably not by much. In 5-10 years you're still stuck with an out-of-date TV.Hookups ---> No VGA connector to hook up to a computer. This is only a slight con, because you can use one of the HDMI connectors if your computer has an HDMI. Most newer computers have HDMI.Some people are complaining this TV only has 2 HDMI connections. This again is only a slight con, because you can buy an HDMI 1080P hub and expand the amount of HDMI connections if you really need more. For my needs, all I really need is one HDMI to hook it up to Apple TV and one for my blue-ray player That's it. The Apple TV pretty much does everything I need. It has digital audio out, so I can hook it up to a surround sound system If I choose (expanding the capability of the TV) And what is not available on NetFlix or my purchases, I can use my Blue-ray player. I can mirror my iPad through Apple TV to have internet on my TV. So, having only 2 HDMI connections is not such a drawback, for my needs anyway.----------Conclusion----------The LG 32" CS560 is an excellent TV at a very low price. It combines a clear, crisp 1080P picture quality with impressive, built-in sound quality. For well under $380 dollars, you can't go wrong buying this TV. This TV is not going to replace a high-end theater or gaming TV for your theater room, but it will make a good living room, bedroom or family room TV. Who knows, once you buy this TV, you may decide you don't really need to spend extra bucks on a bigger, home theater TV. At such a low price, it allows a person to purchase a newer TV in 5 or 10 years without feeling like you're constantly spending tons of money to always upgrade your TV. You'll be surprised how much quality is packed into a TV at such a low price.---------------------------------If you liked this review, you may enjoy other reviews by me. 4Not bad(then I found a tip, and I rate it very good)UPDATED

Updated this review on April 18th, 2012 Look Below >>>>>>>>>>I have had this tv for a few weeks. The choice was between this one and a cheaper Panasonic that had lots of good reviews. When I went to the store, I expected to buy the Panasonic, but this one seemed to have a better picture. The clincher was the sound quality. This one was much better. I could actually hear this one, but the other one sounded muddled. Maybe the speakers were blown on the Panasonic, but I couldn't hear it. Since I have a wood pellet stove, there is a lot of background noise in my living room, so I needed good sound. This one has some equalizing scheme that allows it to sound better at lower volume. Perhaps Toshiba pumps up the gain on the highs which makes it easier to hear.As for the picture, it is fine. Not near as bright as my friends TV of the same size that cost over twice as much, but okay for what I want it for, which was primarily to watch netflix at 480P.When you first hook up the tv, it asks you if you want to take it out of "store mode" Which is why it looked so great to start with... I guess it pumps up the brightness, and contrast so it looks great in the store, and makes people want to buy it.It isn't quite as bright as it looked in the store, but it is fine.I don't regret my purchase, and as long as it turns out to be reliable for years to come, I will be satisfied with my purchase.I could use some separate composite inputs.Overall, it is fine.I increased the rating of this TV to 4 stars after I found the following EXTREMELY HELPFUL TIP ON A BEST BUY REVIEW posted by USofANDY."The picture looks excellent, however, I did need to make a lot of changes to the menu settings to achieve this - the picture is too dark at default settings but the two key settings to remedy this are the energy saver settings and backlight intensity.Turn off energy saving and crank up the backlight and you have a very bright picture, the remaining settings can be easily calibrated to your preference.Make no mistake, I love the picture quality and the screen itself has low reflection."The picture was always nice, but the first thing I noticed was that it was a little dark. I didn't like it, but could tolerate it. Turning that energy saving mode off, made a HUGE difference! Now I have a nice bright picture, which looks much better.I am really glad I found that tip by chance, and I hope you find the tip either on Best Buy, or here on Amazon. That one little tip made me give it another star. Now I am completely satisfied...James Ruffin Says:"1. Hit the menu button,2.go to "preferences" in the menu3. press the down arrow key to scroll down (the energy settings are sort of hidden at the bottom),3. hit the enter button to select energy savings4. Set auto brightness sensor to "off"Picture should be much brighter. "

5Exceeded expectations!
By Tom O.
I purchased this 32" LCD TV as a "slick deal" recently, which means I found it at an uncommonly low price, and purchased it on a whim.Out of the box, I was pleased to learn that the picture quality was going to FAR exceed my expectations. I have discerning taste, and I can say with a clear conscience that the picture quality of this set is on par with what I've seen from Sony & Samsung. The black is black, the contrast is great, and the colors really pop. It is truly a stunning picture! And completely unexpected from a set of this price range (and brand name).I read reviews that disparaged the sound quality before I received the TV - but I was pleased to learn upon setting it up that the sound quality was fine. It's average, mind you, but not terrible. I have it currently set up in a 14 x 23' carpeted & fully furnished family room and it sounds fine. I just wish it had an "analog audio-out" port so I could hook up one of my subwoofers to it.Besides the picture quality, the HDTV antenna reception was an unexpected surprise. It's outstanding! I don't have an antenna connected to the TV, yet it pulls in every local channel that I get on my other LCD TV (that has a highly rated Leaf antenna connected to it)! In fact, this Toshiba TV provides BETTER reception than my other TV. None of the channels "come in and out." They just work, all the time, clear as day, in high def. Pretty impressive stuff! [In the spirit of full disclosure, my other LCD TV is a few years old and might not have a great tuner. So maybe all LCD TVs have great in-the-box reception these days. Take my feedback for what it's worth.]All in all, I'm very impressed with this set from Toshiba. I never would have purchased one of their sets if I hadn't gotten such a good deal on it, but now I've opened my mind to their TVs. They certainly did a good job with this one! Particularly around the picture quality and over-the-air HDTV reception.Quite impressive for this price range.

3I am mostly happy with this TV
By L. K. Sterling
The picture is very sharp and it is much better than I expected for the price. But I have one big complaint and one smaller one.The small complaint is that the remote is oddly designed. Some frequently used buttons are very tiny and poorly labeled. The mute only goes to half mute when first pressed. If I wanted to turn the TV down, I'd turn it down. I expect the mute button to mute the TV.The large complaint is that the audio is not very bright. The maximum sound level is barely enough for me to hear over my fan or when I am cooking. If you like to watch TV loud or if you are putting it in a large room with background noise, you will be disappointed. I am going to have to buy some external speakers. I am not a gamer and don't care about extra bass--I want a crisper sound in the midrange/human voice levels. I keep rewinding to hear what is said during movies and dramas when conversations are soft. News shows and game shows are OK.That said, the picture is very sharp. It is my first HDTV so I have nothing to compare it to but the picture is very nice, and I was expecting to pay a lot more.

5Took a shot in the dark and it paid off!
By J.Mills
First off, if you're contemplating on this television because of the brand name, so was I at first. I looked at this tv for about a week before I decided to go through with the purchase, I personally had never heard of the brand Hiteker. And with only being able to see roughly three televisions available from them I was leery about it. I figured "Why the hell not, Amazon has a 30 day return policy if something happens."This television has left a BIG impression on me. NOTE: I purchased this tv for use in my bedroom (typical usage, little bit of tv before bed, occasional movie, etc). This tv not only hit all my check marks of having the features I needed (3 HDMI ports, at least 32" and 1080p resolution) but has been able to hold it's own compared to other larger LCD tv's in my house (LG and Samsung). Light weight for the size, simple setup took less than 3 minutes to have it hooked up to my cable box and was watching tv. I mean you honestly can't beat a tv that is fairly well built for such a *low price. (* The price of purchase was close to around $240 but I had a $50 Amazon gift card so got it for cheaper plus I purchased a 3 years warranty for $20. I mean you can't beat a tv with features like this for $200 or less, specially the size.)Pros:- Perfect for a bedroom television (honestly couldn't see this being used as a main tv, but also I've had 47"+ in my living room for over 5+ years now)- 3 HDMI ports, most tv's (I know LG specially) of this size and price only have 2 HDMI if you're lucky (for me cable box, Roku, and x360 when in the bedroom)- Shipped and received two days from order (directly from Amazon so return policy played a factor for me)- Was able to get the tv and 3 year warranty for $200! (see above paragraph)Cons:- No wifi / apps (for some this is a big selling point, but for my case I bought the Roku for Netflix, Amazon video, etc and it is honestly the better option in terms of price. $200 tv + $100 Roku = $300 tv you will NOT get from any big name for that price)- Speakers are not the best (if you play with the audio options and turn on the Surround Sound options it GREATLY improves audio immensely)- Most brands put their name on the product, apparently not with Hiteker. If it wasn't for the manual I honestly couldn't tell you the brand name.- Remote is made from SUPER cheap plastic (but doesn't really matter to me since the TWC remote will be used mainly with the tv programmed)NOTE: This is a review for only having a product the first few days. I will post if any issues show themselves in time but in the meantime this is a GREAT bedroom television. Paying for a name doesn't always been it's always a great product!

4Great value and good TV
By Bob R.
Okay, if you are looking for a top of the line, full featured LCD TV with superb picture and sound, don't look here. In fact don't look in this size at all. You want at least 50% more screen size and you would need to spend a solid chunk more than twice this price. If you are looking for a very good TV with very good picture quality, more than enough inputs and full HD at a price that is unbeatable, here it is.The picture quality is very good, I give it 3 out of 5 stars only because I compare it to my 60" plasma screen which is phenomenal. Rated on its own with no other comparison, this set has excellent picture quality, 4 out of 5. My set has no damaged pixels. The audio quality is just okay (hey, it's a TV not an audio system) but the set does have adjustable sound settings with equalizer that allows some customization.Though this is an odd brand, my cable box remote did have a proper code preset into it that allows the set to be remotely controlled. Unlike another set I have which is also a (different) off brand and which my cable remote has no codes that work. The set is easy to set up and ready in minutes. I have had it several days and have quite a few hours of viewing on it. I like the set very much and it is perfect for a small bedroom. I was surprised and happy to find a full 1080p set in this size, most are 720p. This set also has 3 HDMI inputs, comparable sets have 2. For the quality and the amazingly low price, I am supremely happy with this purchase. I also got the 3 year square trade warranty, that company has a very low price for great warranty coverage. I have had to use them on a larger set of mine and they paid for a replacement set which was actually better than the one that broke down, and they did it with no hassle! So I got the set and 3 years of warranty, full HD and 3 HDMI inputs for less than most 720p sets with less inputs and no extended warranty. I highly recommend this television!

5good tv - excellent as a pc monitor
By R. Carlson
I bought this on sale for 199 despite never hearing of the company. 1080P looks awesome as a computer monitor, sports look nice in 1080p, most shows seems to be 720p only but that is not the tv's fault. small smell of plastic and a little hot at the start in the back - will see if that disappears, but for the price its hard to tell difference from a 46" sony 1080P purchased 5 years ago at 2,000. I have it hooked up to 2 pc's , gamecube and playstation 2 and tv. 3 HDMI inputs are awesome. no apps, and simple menus but it does what it should. Speakers are good but not awesome, they are crisp and clear but they won't get really loud like more expensive tv's. Not a problem as I have external speakers but no need to use them yet. I recommend being at least 5+ feet away from it as 32" is still big, too big to really sit up close like I am doing. TV is very light and remote is very light. Big plus is no branding on the front, just the tv. Power light is nice, small and blue, doesn't get in the wayedit: my samsung tv remote and samsung codes in generic remote seem to work for this tv just fine. Will be easy to replace remote

5My First Flat Panel TV
By Dre
So I took the plunge and finally upgraded my bedroom TV to a Flat Panel Samsung LED 720p 32" (Model UN32EH4003). I bought it during the Black Friday time frame directly from Amazon for $247.99 (Free Shipping, 14-Day Price Guarantee). I went in knowing that I was buying the cheapest 32" Samsung Flat Panel that you could buy and knew that I wasn't getting every bell and whistle, which is fine with me. My goal for this TV is to use it as a bedroom TV with a Verizon FIOS cable box and a media player (Ethernet connected, not WiFi) and watch it from about 8 feet away. No gaming, minimal DVD, etc. That's basically it.Just for some background, I'm upgrading from an old 20" Generic Tube TV in the bedroom. I do have an HDTV in the living room, but it is also a Tube TV. There I have a 34" Sony widescreen Tube TV that I bought about 7 years ago that was basically the biggest widescreen Tube TV made that I know of. Back then a Tube TV picture was much better and cheaper than Flat Panel.First Impression - This TV looks nice. Clean front. It is extremely light. The base feels sturdy and big enough to support the TV without risk of falling over. It was simple to put together with 8 screws in the base.Setup - It has 2 HDMI's and then some regular RCA and Component hookups. My setup consists of Verizon FIOS Cable Box and a WD Live TV Media Player (to be replaced by a Boxee Box within the week, but that's another story). Plugged the Cable Box and the Media Player into each HDMI port using new Amazon Basics HDMI cables. The TV on-screen setup was easy enough to figure out without pulling out the instruction manual. Everything came up perfectly the first time with just a press of the Source button.Picture Quality - I tested the TV out with several different types of media and sources.1) First with SD Cable. A little blocky up close, which may just be the source, but from a normal viewing distance, I the quality was just fine. The kids' cartoons were fine.2) Second with HD Cable. This picture seemed really nice. Didn't see any kind of distortion. Seemed nearly as good as the HD Tube TV that I have downstairs from an 8 foot viewing distance. I was happy with what I saw.3) Third with a normal 720p Video file via the Media Player. Picture was really nice in this case also. Everything seemed crisp. Very happy.4) Finally with a fast motion 1080p Video file via the Media Player. This is where I expected the worst, but to my surprise, the fast motion scenes seemed fine also. I only tested a couple of files, so we'll see if other scenes have a problem, but so far so good.Overall I was very happy with the picture quality. The colors on the default setting were pretty terrible, so I tried "brilliant" which was too yellow, and finally settled on "movie" which was pretty much perfect in all instances. The "movie" setting was much brighter than the default, but not too crazy. Looked pretty natural.Viewing Angles - Side viewing angles seemed really good. This was one of my pet peeves and most of my reluctance to move to a flat panel TV in the first place. Many flat panel TV's look terrible when you aren't watching it straight on. This TV seems to have much better side viewing than many of the competing TV's out there.Screen - The screen edges do have a few very faint white areas that I have noticed, but they are barely noticeable and only when the screen is completely black. I don't notice it at all when there is any kind of picture on the screen. I probably only see it because I am looking for it after reading a few comments about backlight bleed. For me, it doesn't seem like anything to worry about. I always buy SquareTrade warranties with all my electronics, so if the screen does have a problem, I will be set.Sound Quality - This is where I had the most trouble. Granted, I'm upgrading from a old TV, but out of the box, the Samsung sounded very hollow and words were hard to understand. It seemed to be completely missing any low end, not talking about booming bass, just lower frequencies seemed to be missing. I tried every sound preset that they had and all were pretty bad. I finally gave up on the presets and used the included 5 band Equalizer which finally did the trick. Per request, I posted a picture of the settings in the customer images section of this item. [THIS SECTION HAS BEEN UPDATED BELOW: I basically maxed out the low and high frequencies and made a bell curve of the middle frequencies, raising the one that controlled voices until I has happy. This seemed to do the trick just fine and I am now happy with the sound.] Granted, if you are expecting a booming surround sound feel, you're shopping for the wrong TV, but for what I think this TV is meant for, it sounds just fine.Bells, Whistles and Other Stuff - I haven't toyed with this TV too much yet. There are lots of menu settings to go through. The power button on the bottom of the TV seems pretty cool. It is like a combined button/joystick that pulls up a menu when pressed that you can use the button to move through, or just turn off the TV. I won't use it much since the Cable Box remote will do most of the work, but it is a nice to have since the actual TV remote will probably sit in a drawer once everything is set up. It does have a USB port that is supposed to play pretty much any type of media format. If this works well, it is a great feature. For me, I plan on continuing to use a dedicated Media Player, so I probably won't use this much, but for anyone else, it would save you $100 on having to buy a media player if you have a use for it.I've only had this TV for one day, but this is what I think so far for a pro/con list.Pros:1) Great price ($247.99 at the time I purchased it, put a camelcamelcamel price alert on it for when the price drops again).2) Great picture quality, especially for the price.3) Very good side viewing angles.4) Easy setup and connection to Cable Box and Media Player.5) Enough picture and sound settings to get the quality you want for your individual preference.6) Fast motion scenes seem ok so far.7) Energy Star cost of $6-$12 per year to operate. That just sounds crazy, but I'll take it.Cons:1) Sound presets are terrible, but can be adjusted manually.2) Concern about possible backlight bleed, but covering myself with an inexpensive SquareTrade warranty. In conclusion, I'm giving this TV a 5 Star Rating based on how great it is for it's low price. I've only had this TV for one day, but I love it so far. I will continue to update this review as I use the TV more and learn more about it.=========================ONE MONTH UPDATE (12/26/2012):So I've had this TV for about a month now, and I still love it. I am very happy with the video performance and I have continued to refine the audio settings. The picture is great. The viewing angles are great. I haven't had a single instance of any kind of motion blur from any fast motion scenes yet. No change in the very minor backlight bleed which I still think is no big deal. Its working great with the Verizon FIOS HD DVR and the HD Media Player (now upgraded to a Boxee Box). The one negative regarding this TV is the sound. I posted a customer image and talked about my manual Equalizer settings in my original review. Since then, I had found that those setting were still not quite right. During many scenes, the background music seemed to overpower everything and voices were becoming impossible to understand in many instances. I kept tinkering with the Equalizer and finally settled on updated settings. It seems that the 300Hz setting was the one that was controlling most of the background music, so I dropped it way down and words became much clearer. I have now been using these updated Equalizer settings for a couple of weeks now without messing with them, so that tells me that they sound pretty good to my ears. Again, for the low price of this TV, I'm not expecting the best sound, so it hasn't had any impact to my 5 Star Rating now that I have fine tuned the settings. Attached is a link to the customer image of my updated Equalizer settings in case you want to try them.http://www.amazon.com/gp/customer-media/permalink/mo3HFIDARBG6VZT/B0078LSTWU/ref=cm_ciu_images_pl_linkLong story short, I still highly recommend this TV for the price. It seems to hover around the $250-$300 mark and it is a great deal at that price point.

5Great HDTV for the price!
By BB
This is a really sweet Samsung HDTV for the price. The first one I bought at Walmart for $298 was on Sept. 4th. That one had some LED backlight bleed on the bottom center of it. Like a white cloud around 4 or 5 inches long. So I took it back and returned it and went to another Walmart to purchase another one. No noticeable backlight bleed on this one.I remember reading that there is no noticeable difference between a 1080P vs. 720P with HDTV's under 40". I found this to be true with a 32" HDTV. It honestly looks like a 1080P HDTV. So save your money unless you want a SMART 32" HDTV.I always grew up being a Sony fan. But Samsung has the best picture quality on the market today. You can see that when you checkout the displays at the stores. Was first considering a Vizio, but they are hit and miss with the user reviews. To me it was worth paying an extra $60 for a Samsung that gets much more consistent good user reviews. The blacks are a deep black and the colors are truly brilliant. The sound is very good on it. No need to hook-up external speakers to it. Love the thin bezel on it as well. I use this 32" for my medium size bedroom. Bigger is better, but anything bigger than this would be overwhelming.I would recommend doing what I did and go with SquareTrade on the warranty. They advertize a 3 year parts and labor warranty for $33. Make sure you call them instead of doing it online. When I called the Rep he offered me a 4 year warranty for $3 more. You can't beat a $36 4 year warranty. And SquareTrade has great user reviews.

4Sure is purdy, but not paying much for it shows.
By N
In a nutshell: Good, sexy, small TV marred by crap refresh rate. Good for movies, not so for actions or games. What it is: a basic 32-inch TV by Samsung. Backlit LED TV with relatively low resolution (1366x768, I believe?) and low refresh rate. No Smart TV feature, although supposedly you could play some limited formats of videos via USB.How it is: Nice and clear screen with good color reproduction. Intuitive, if cluttered, remote. All ports are at the back, and component and composite port are one and the same, befitting its budget ambitions. Only two HDMI ports, which may not matter much if just using as some ersatz computer monitor (hey, HTPC!) or a bedroom TV (...Roku?). Also missing due to budget constraints: smart TV functions--you ain't watching that Netflix of yours unless you get an HTPC or a settop box. You aren't probably going to miss the extra pixels, but you are going to miss the higher refresh rate--motion blur is rather pronounced on this TV. Movies, being shot at 30FPS, however, work better than, say, sports or games. LED cuts down on power cost, resulting in one of the most efficient TV of its size. It's not sidelit or direct-lit, though, so it's not particularly going to be thin depth-wise (it does have a thin bezel compared to other TVs of this size) nor would it have fancy features like local dimming. It, however, doesn't seem to have light bleeds or uneven light splotches. It doesn't come with any accessories other than the stand (duh) and the remote (also duh); if you need any composite, coax, or HDMI cables, you should order them with this TV. Strange toggle button under the TV works both as power button and channel/volume control, which makes this TV very disorienting to use without remote. Game mode cuts down on refresh rate somewhat, but doesn't seem to be working on HDMI. If you want to hook up external speakers to this TV, good luck--it doesn't have any coax or optical outs for sound hook-ups to them, although some soundbars with HDMI inputs might work. Thankfully, in-unit speakers are decent enough.Pros: Sexy slim bezels; LED backlights; two HDMI inputs; energy efficient; nice colors; remote intuitive; loud and clear sound; solid build quality; backlight is evenly lit.Cons: all inputs are at the back; no VGA input; no smart TV features; motion blur from low refresh rate; questionable stand strength; TV isn't very thin; weird control on TV; remote cluttered; game mode doesn't seem to work on HDMI; no conventional sound out means you can't let the sound out to some home theater system speakers or soundbars.Verdict: Good, solid TV for the price ($248 at the time of purchase). Try to go bigger if you're in the market for a good TV that you can game on; there just aren't any affordable 120Hz 32" TVs.Edit (11/22/2012): The TV does not have any audio out, which may hinder your use of the computer with your home theater system (...with a 32 inch TV? Really?) or your soundbar. Reflected in review.Edit (1/13/2013): The TV can do game mode over HDMI; my mistake. Also, according to a major A/V retailer website, the TV doesn't push audio out to the HDMI-compatible soundbars. Bummer.

3Glass panel front is VERY reflective
By Bill in Virginia
The great picture and good viewing angles for an LCD/LED were the reasons I bought this for our living room. It did not disappoint with either picture quality or viewing angle. But the EXTREMELY reflective glass panel covering this beautiful TV made it virtually unwatchable even though it was angled away from the main window. The blacks were so black we could watch ourselves watching TV in the dark areas of the picture -- especially while watching movies, which tend to be darker than regular TV. Many of the plasmas I've seen in the stores are less reflective, which makes plasmas viable options if you think you can handle a glass panel. The TV has been returned and we're shopping for less reflective replacement.

5Great TV set with amazing functionality
By RZ
I got mine from a local store on sale for a little under $1600. That was about three weeks ago. And since then my entire family just can't get enough of it.Picture quality is just great - and that's expected. But what amazes me is all the extra functionality with what this TV is packed.1. Video streaming with Netflix. (It also has VUDU, YouTube, Picasa - but I did not try VUDU yet, and YouTube and Picasa work just fine, but I do not need a huge display to view some low resolution videos from YouTube). So Netflix movies available to watch instantly look great. Even those that are not HD quality. I must say that I have FIOS internet connection, so that must be also a component for high quality videos, but as far as this set goes - it does a great job.2. This TV has 2 hi-speed USB2.0 input jacks, and it recognizes not just flash drives, but also USB external hard drives - even with NTFS file format. I tried both - FAT32 and NTFS, and also external drives with additional power source and without it, - this TV recognizes them all. It can play your video files (and other media too) directly from external hard drive! And it supports multiple video formats, including Matroska H.264. It also supports external subtitles for AVI files. I did not test multiple subtitles formats, but SRT works great. It supports standard Latin letters languages and Korean. No other encodings though.I want also to add a few words about design. I use a TV stand that it came with, and it allows TV to be turned both sides about 20 degree - just enough to get to the USB jacks or to additional audio or HDMI jacks that are placed on a left side. The main ones are located on the back panel - which is also pretty easy to reach thanks to that rotating feature of a stand. The rotation is very smooth and requires no force at all.I can't be more pleased with it.

5Everything I'd hoped it would be ... almost.
By L. Sims
Other reviewers have covered the technical stuff, so I'm going to keep it short and sweet.Pros: Outstanding picture quality in all modes, easy to use.Cons: Some screen glare, widgets not very useful.I've been very happy with the various presets and keep it in one of the THX modes most of the time.To give you some perspective, I've been in the video production business my entire career (30+ years)and the picture watching through my HD cable box is crystal clear. I've watched 1 Blu-Ray movie and was very impressed. I've watched football and there were zero artifacts during fast motion. The screen is a large piece of glass so there will be some glare, as is true with any polished surface. There is only slight flashlighting I've noticed when changing inputs but never during any programming, including really dark night scenes from the Blu-Ray.The audio is as good as the 32" standard TV this replaced. There are different modes and settings, but it is not going to sound like a 500 watt system. Keep your expectations realistic. The widgets as of this review include weather, finance, a few games and others ... too many to list but as far as I'm concerned, they don't add much value. There are NetFlix apps like VUDU and YouTube which work very well. These are worth paying some extra. When I hooked up the Internet through an ethernet LAN cable, it automatically checked for updates...pretty cool.Aesthetically, the set is good looking and construction seems solid. All the inputs are located in one place on the back panel ... no front or side inputs. There are cable guides so you can semi-hide the wiring. This works pretty well.In summary, I'm very happy with the picture quality, which is why I got this model. If you don't see any updates to this review, nothing has changed with further use.
